Is there any way to fix the Blue Screen Of Death on my Acer Aspire V5-571P?

A few years ago my laptop displayed the Blue Screen of Death and I haven't been able to fix it since. I've tried everything the internet has suggested and cannot find any other solution. I can't factory reset either, as it's also incapabale of doing that either.

    This error can occur for several reasons. You really can't reinstall windows by pressing alt + f10 before the Acer logo?

    Not by the look of it, I've tried multiple times. It beeps one, then the acer logo appears and it says "Diagnosing your PC..."

    Wait... a few years ago? Do you know which version of Windows was it running?

    If you have access to another device and a USB stick as long as the laptop is able to turn on you should be able to get it back to a working state. Maybe even access the data you had in there and use the same internals it has, after all those kinds of errors could be software related.

    I'd first try to assess whether the internal hard drive is in good condition or not, then take important things off of there and reinstall the system altogether. Ideally making an image of the drive and spinning it in a virtual machine to access everything, but guiding you through that could be tedious.

    If you have access to another machine and have a USB stick around there's a very basic diagnostic Windows environment I built yesterday that could help you see how the disk is fairing and take things off of there to an external drive or something. That's in case the built in recovery solutions don't work (I never had much faith in those to be honest... hahaha), if they do and the laptop goes back to a working state great!
