Audio Issues with Helios 300

Hey guys,
Recently I've noticed an issue with the audio of the laptop (Helios 300, PH315-52) - basically, when there is sound playing, around every thirty seconds there is a "pop", like an electric sounding pop, coming from the speakers. Furthermore, the same "pop" can be heard when I am skipping a video and almost every skip produces that popping/crackling sound.
Could you help me figure out why this happens and how am I to fix this because when it's so regular it kind of becomes annoying.

From what I've seen now it occurs regularly by itself and that pop is more located on the left side, whereas when I skip using the right/left arrows the pop occurs on the right side, near the keys. Also, I tried using a different command - next file in a playlist - and I could also hear the same popping. I haven't tried reverting to an older version of the driver, I will try to do that now.0 -
