Sorry. Your machine's RAM max is 16GB. Jack E/NJ

There are two slots inside, should I think each slot maximum is 8 GB?  because even I have put one card 16GB and it has failed to start? meaning i need to go back and buy 2X8GB?

this question goes out to ACER community. I want to upgrade my current ram config from x2 sticks of 4GB ram to x2 sticks of 8Gb ram. But have not done it before. Appreciate any advice. Willing to pay ACER official tech support or any 3rd party vendor- if such a service exists. Thanks.

Easy to do. Remove 12 screws from the bottom case. Pry the bottom case from the top with a credit card. Disconnect the battery from the mainboard. Then spread the two metal RAM hold-down arms (each marked number 1) and the 4GB RAM modules will pop up at an angle and easily pulls out. Push the new 8GB module at the same angle and push it down till the two hold-down arms grab it. Jack E/NJ
