Already installed ram.

Ram to buy are the below:
Crucial CT16G4SFD824A 16GB 2400MHz 260-Pin SODIMM Laptop Memory (CT16G4SFD824A)
or
Kingston ValueRAM 8GB 2400Mhz DDR4 Non-ECC CL17 SODIMM 1Rx8 (KVR24S17S8/8)
Appreciate your quick responses.
thanks,

Hi, I would suggest you to go for Kingston 8GB module because it will utilise dual channel mode with your current 8GB Micron module, if you install Crucial 16GB it will run at mixed mode of dual and single channel, it will be an impediment for performance.0

Hi,
Single rank RAM is different from single channel, single rank is a method of production of RAM, dual channel mode is the way RAM functions, for your system to function at dual channel, you need same size modules with same CL value installed in both slots.
I would say 8GB Kingston or 8GB Micron module is better than installing 16GB module in your laptop.0

So i was just wondering if Single channel Crucial might still be fine? Please let me know your thoughts here. The earlier suggested was Kingston at 8GB ram. Here is a 16GB one, please let me know if this is also fine.
