Aspire z3-715 replacement screen

the front glass(plastic?) for my aspire z3-715 has a large crack in it and i'm tyring to find a replacement part. can anybody assist?
it's the 23.8" i believe? none-touch screen.

    On the Z3-715 the front pane is glued to the display panel, so it all comes as one piece. For the non-touch version there are three different part numbers, I assume because they had different vendors during the product lifespan. Any of them should work, but it's a big job to replace, the screen is the last item on the sequenced disassembly list.

    oh, so it's not as simple and easy as just take the pane off and glue a new one on?

    wow D: those parts are expensive D: $200+shipping for the least expensive i can find D:
    how important is the little glass pane? i mean it's just the pane, nothing else on the display at all is damaged/cracked

    Not important unless the cracking leaves a sharp edge, or spreads to the display matrix itself. If it were the touchscreen version it's make more of a difference since the touch digitizer is built in to that part on those.

    oh ok, i was worried about dirt or something getting in, it's actually missing a large circular chuck about 4-5 inches across =/ ... maybe i can just remove the pane and continue operating it as normal until i can gather up funds for a new pane.

    here's a picture for a better idea of my concern and why i'd rather remove the pane then leave it how it is currently.

    update: i took things apart and see now why it's all 1 assembled peice.

     doing searches for it on amazon/ebay/google, the pictures are not very clear

    did you get a replacement screen
    is your problem solved
    i have a flickering issue  advised to change the LCD panel... looking for the spare part department or store

    I ended up just building a new computer to be honest,
