USB Type C Use? helios 300

So I tried to investigate the use of usb type c in my predator helios 300 2019 model, but I really reached to a conclusion that it's no more than a commodity piece of junk that is there just to say this lap has usb c!
No display output
No charging for the battery
Sometimes irreversible!
And the data transfer rate is not really as advertised!
Any idea to prove me wrong?

    Good evening Vio007 !

    Possibly you are wrong.
What EXACT model of your laptop?
Only USb-Type C 3.1 Gen2 connections with Thunderbolt support transfer video.
Gen 1 (virtually any equipment standard) only transfers data.
As for the battery, it is not possible to charge through this connection.
There are Type C connections that may SUPPLY power but not CHARGE the laptop.
The laptop is charged only by the standard DC-in Jack connection.

@Vio007 as far as im aware the h300 2019 has dp port/hdmi so the USB c it's gen 1 data only makes no sense to have Thunderbolt on USB-C when u already have other display ports and no it will not support charging over USB mainly I have only seen it in the spin series my spin5 supports it so there's nothing wrong with it and the advertised specs are exactly what u have

Guys I think you got me wrong, this is exactly what I'm saying!if it has no display (BTW this model doesnt have the DP) out put,no charging for the laptop,as tested mediocre data transfer speeds..so what's the point of it being there?
I doubt anyone would miss it if it was replaced with another USB 3.31...

Vio007 yes its just a usb gen1 port same as mine i sont use my usb c port either i use my 5tb external hdd for gaming via usb 3.0 and its the only 3.0 port i have :) its probably still there because many phones use usb-c cables now and some might even only bring c to c not c to a thats probably one of the reasons they left it and of course to power usb hubs

You can use type-c Pendrives which I find is much faster than normal usb 3 drives. It’s basically the fastest USB port on your device. If you have an external NVMe SSD, using the Type-c port gives you a lot of speed.
