Acer nitro 7 battery life

How long is the battery of nitro 7 supposed to last? When i unplug my acer, i get barely 2 hours on power saving mode while browsing the web.

    Some simple optimizations like above go a long way in extending battery life. For example, without the above my Predator 300 used to give about 2 hours on battery, and with them it extended to about 4 hours. And my Nitro 515-42 gives me about 5 hours on power saving mode.

    Thanks again, disabling dgpu while on battery did the trick. I'm getting 9 hours of browsing the web and watching youtube on power saving mode now:)

    There is no exact time and a lot depends on background apps that are running, I shut down all my background apps

    i have almost no background apps, i got rid of bloatware immediately after purchasing the laptop. The only services running are acer, nvidia and intel

    and on amazon i got an answer from someone saying that he can watch netflix unplugged without power saving mode for 7 hours.

    User reviews on Amazon may not be what you think and definitely not a place to find laptop specs. I have an AN515-42 and can watch about 4 hours of Netflix on Power Saving mode and that's OK for me and about average

    Even that would be nice. i cant even have 2 hours on saving mode browsing the news, with all settings set to battery life

    Post a screens of your task Manager for both the  Processes tab and Performance tab. This is mine on battery while I am browsing the Web

    Reschedule Antimalware Executable to run at a time you don't usually use your laptop, it is part of Windows Defender, it can be a power hogger so reschedule Defender. Shut down anything that says Steam, if you're not gaming and on AC power it shouldn't be running.

    Then do a battery recalibration. Charge battery to 100% then unplug and use until below 10% but not zero, recharge and repeat for a total of 3 times

    how did you diabled the discrete GPU while on battery ? help me in this. I am struggling :(

    Run programs on integrated GPU instead of dedicated GPU - needs to be configured at each program level.
