[PH317-52] How can I permanently disable integrated graphics and use only the GTX 1060 ?

The Nvidia control panel is missing a bunch of options due to integrated graphics "getting in the way", so to speak. Since conserving battery isn't an issue because my Predator serves as desktop replacement, I wouldn't mind disabling integrated graphics once and for all.

@AlpineTom you can't disable the igpu your internal display its attached to it same as the entire os  nothing will work if u disable it and regarding the nvcp its not missing any options you have a mobile gpu not a desktop gpu and you will also have display options if u use a external diplay  and that's the only option to use the dgpu only

That is disappointing, but thank you anyway. Is there maybe another way to get to the currently unavailable settings in the Nvidia control panel?

Nope, I think. Most of those options are in Intel Graphics Command Center. Have a look over there.

AlpineTom as far as i know you can only have the optimus features in the laptops that have rtx 2070/2080 max-q which it will swapp automatically between gpus to save power depending on what youre doing and regarding the extra nvcp options you will only have display options in the nvcp if you use external display and nothing else thats the only you will have available on mobile nvidia gpus

Even on my shadow VM gaming server with a Zotac 1080 founders edition these are the options i have (of course it all depends on hardware you are using to access it in first place as everything will be forwarded through including display)
