I have a Helios 500 from 2018, it performs great. The only problem is that the Macro keys at the top of the keyboard do not work or light up, it could be a connection problem with one of the wires but I can't find the wire it uses inside the laptop. Does anyone have an idea where it is? I have tried getting them to work through Predator sense as suggested on other threads but no luck. The lights that are meant to flash to show the computers on and the hard drives are working do not light up either. Does anyone have an idea where the connections are for these parts of the laptop are or any idea what may be causing it?

PS
They never worked when I got it second hand, cheers

nevermind I fixed it, turned out to be a loose wire. I had to take apart the whole thing by going underneath the Motherboard and the wire was not plugged in. I appreciate your help :)

Ryang probably a bad cable/connection or worst case the pcb itself this is the macro assembly cable/pcb

Anyway hope it helps you can also try a stock recovery clean install first to see if the issue its really hardware on software only

    Thank you for your response
Which cable on the picture is the macro cable and how deep into the laptop do I need to go? Is it underneath the Motherboard?
