Will my existing "x16" RAM supports my new "x4" RAM? Please see attached image and confirm.

Below is the new "4Gx4"


I will open this only if it supports and doesn't affect the performance.

    It not showing me the compatibilty between x16 and x4. Please let me know if you are able to find it.

    My laptop is Aspire 3 (A315-41-R95S)

    What you're asking about just tells you the chips used on the module. What you should be looking at is the other information. 

    If  you're worried go into Google and type the first line in. The one that starts A01 . You'll find both are the same sort of memory module.

    I just wanted to know that they are compatible with each other or not.. I searched everywhere but there is no information available.
