Should Bluelight Shield change the screen colours at a given time?

Hello,
I'm never sure how it is meant to be... I usually don't shutdown my Windows 10 Acer Laptop, but rather hibernate/wakeup for long periods. Sometimes I'm surprised when Bluelight Shield kicks in on a restart. I wish it could be active all the time, or at least, change colours automatically while the system is running. I have the impression it changes/activates only on a system start. Am I right? If yes, please add the automatic change feature!
Thanks for listening

    Hi @GoodGracious

Acer Bluelight shield is an application that allows users to control how much blue light is used to display an image. This allows users to lower levels of blue light to lessen the negative effects of blue light exposure. You can adjust Acer Bluelight Shield settings using the Acer Quick Access application.

It turns on by itself after a PC starts. However, if you want to have it on forever, you need to use the Night light feature of Windows 10 since you can't schedule BlueLight Filter in Quick Access.

    Hey guys.

I found a fix, hopefully, this will helps you all too.

Go to settings in windows./ In search bar type CALIBRATE DISPLAY COLOUR/ select next and go to adjust gamma. ( if you set the gamma high it will reduce a bit of yellowish). Next, you can adjust brightness and contrast if the option is available in your laptop. (I didn't have that option). Then click next and go to ADJUST COLOUR BALANCE. In there if you move the first red slider to the middle it will help to reduce the yellowish colour.

Better than nothing you know ;) Good Luck!!

Did the subject change... no. Sorry for seeming pedantic, but you seem to offer the option to walk when someone is looking for a flight schedule.
I'm very sure there are several options of changing colors on a display, starting with the settings of the device itself, and obviously the drivers / software of the computer.
My question, which still is not answered, was: Should Bluelight Shield switch on/off at a certain time of day (that is, e.g. at dawn, when you are supposed to do less harm to your eyes, or not keep you awake too much), or does it only define its state on a system startup (which makes it useless for me, see above)?
