Reconnect all cables back again and turn on the laptop.

Helios 300 models do not come with user-removable battery. They are fixed inside the case, and needs some level of expertise in opening laptops.

Exactly..so what should I do now any other solutions
There would be a battery reset keyhole. Try that and see if that helps.

Ankitv if your model its not a 2019 follow all steps here uninstall the acpi driver (if you can get into windows even on safe mode) disconnect from AC press/hold the battery pinhole switch for 30s+ leave it to rest 2/3h to completely drain any power left in the capacitors then boot into bios (if youre able to) and reset setup to defaults boot into windows check if the issue persists if you model its a 2019 you wont have a battery pinhole follow the same steps but by pressing the power button instead following the same steps you could also while its off to check if the power kill switch by the ram its properly pressed (some models also do not have it) and add some layers of electrical tape to the bit of rubber/foam that presses it down to make sure its properly pressed and also remove the ram check if the pins are cleaned and insert it back (all this while you are waiting for everything to discharge not before)

I did the battery drain process...but I can't get into bios because the laptop doesn't even boot up...the led stays for 4-5 secs and goes off
I had been to one of Acer's service center, they told there is a problem with motherboard....and they have to replace it...what should I do next... replace it or get fixed somewhere local
I have been having a similar problem with my son's laptop. The battery
seems ok and charged but still does not provide power to the laptop.
This is what I did and solved the problem: I opened the back cover from
the laptop, check on youtube on how to perform this (make sure you remove the hard disk before because depending
on your model the data strip will not allow you to remove the cover).
Then look for the cables connecting the battery to the motherboard, use a
magnifying glass or the camera from your phone because the connectors
are very small. Check on one connector that has a lot of cables with
different colors and make sure is fully seated. Believe it or not this
connectors tend to go loose with time. If you can, re-seat all the
connectors from the battery to the motherboard. This solved my problem. To remove the cover you should use a tool like the isesamo (sold on amazon) or a very thin flat screwdriver.I
hope this helps you all.
