    hi,
    go to:
    http://www.acer.com.ph/ac/en/PH/content/drivers
select own model and on the end of the list of driver you may found 2 driver for wifi so it 50/50% =]]

I noticed that under Device Manager for the Qualcomm Atheros Wireless network adapter, Power Management setting the following:

Allow the ccomputer to turn off this device to save power.  Could this be causing the device to lose wifi connection?  I turned it off once, and when I rebooted the next day it was checked again.

    Thanks

    Hi,

hmm so you have some connection problems, power manager will not help you, please check this notebook on other network in other location, maybe its only local network problem ?

When I am within a close distance to the wireless router my connection is stable.  When I move the laptop twenty-five feet from the router I lose the signal.  There are no large metal objects nearby and I am within viewable range of the router.  I have other laptops that can maintain the signal at that distance.  I have yet to experiment and see if I can maintain the connection within say twenty or fifteen feet, that's next on the agenda.

well so this may be problem with stable link, if you can rise power in router ( some may allow to do this ), if not try to check if router is se on auto mode maybe its problems with auto set speed and network class B G N

I just did a quick assessment and I lose connection when I am ten feet from the router.
