No and no. Although Crucial are usually accurate they don't set the specs for Acer. Official Acer specs say your Motherboard is rated for 2666 mhz max. If you have a 2666 stock RAM then buy another 2666 but if you have 2400 mhz then you need to match it with a 2400. Mismatched RAM will always downclock to the lowest of the 2 sticks and run in single channel, matched RAM with matched CL values will run in dual channel
This is the 2400 you need

And this is the 2666

Anything above 2666mhz is not supported and even if it worked it would downclock so it is a waste of money

Hi,
Install cpu-z free program, find the specs of your current module and get a matching module to work without any issues, HyperX may or may not work, it's a DDR4-3200 and it has CL value of 20, so I would suggest you to go for Kingston value RAM or a Crucial, if it's possible, please read this thread for more information:https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/557008/nitro-an515-42-ram-upgrade/p10 -

Here says that this laptop supports Crucial 16GB Kit (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 SODIMM that have CL 22 so I think maybe it supports that HyperX Impact too.:/0 -
