The 2133mhz ram is more expensive than 2400mhz and 2666mhz here in our country

I have read some opinions that 2400mhz will automatically clockdown into 2133mhz. My second question is if I remove the 2133mhz and set alone the 8gb 2400mhz. Will it run and what will be the issues?

Note: I'm planning to upgrade my RAM upto 16gb using 2400mhz even though it will clockdown to 2133mhz.

    yes it will run.
the speed at which it will run depends upon the memory support of the memory controller in the cpu.
for e.g. i have a  pentium gold 4417u cpu laptop, model A315-53 P4MY,  the cpu supposedly supports memory upto 2133 mhz, and the built in soldered 4 gb ram it came with was shown as 2133 mhz speed in task manager and cpu-z.
i put in another 4gb 2400 mhz ram and surprisingly now both run at 2400mhz. !!!
i confirmed this in task manager and cpu-z
it is working at 2400 mhz in dual channel mode.
This is just for your information.

    My personal Acer m/c's
    1) Gaming: Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-51
    Config:Core i5 8300H, 16GB, 250GB SSD, 1TB HDD, 1050ti GPU

    2) Daily Use: Acer Aspire A315-53  59GR
    Config: Core i5 8250u, 8GB, 256 SSD, 1TB HDD, IPS FHD

    3) Linux Learning: Acer Aspire A315-53 P4MY
Config: Pentium Gold 4417U, 8 GB, 256 SSD, 500GB HDD.

I have read comments that my processor only supports 2133mhz and upon checking on intel website

Your A315-53 P4MY was 8th Gen and it runs in 2400mhz. Mine was only 7th Gen only. I can't find any 2133mhz ram nowadays. I want to upgrade my memory up to 12-16gb. regading my questions, is it safe to install both 2400mhz even though my motherboard and processor only supports 2133mhz?

yes. it is safe. but both will run at the memory controller speed.

if I install 16gb 2400mhz (2x8), it will smoothly run with 2133mhz without any issues
