Screen glitch with Acer Aspire e15 (Model Number E5-576G-5762)

Just recently, I have been getting this annoying screen glitch on this new Acer Aspire Laptop. Last weekend I added 8GB of additional RAM and an additional SSD (Samsung 860 EVO 250GB). Then I installed Fortnite and then the issue occurs. I get weird green dots all over the screen. Five to ten seconds later, the laptop will shut off instantly. Ever since it first happened (one week ago), No matter what I'm doing, this glitch will occur. And starting just 2 days ago, these strange black lines show up on the screen. Just like the green dots, It will cause my laptop to shutdown after five to ten seconds. It is very annoying. Any help to fix this issue will be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Go to Device manager, expand Display adapters, uninstall the driver for graphics card reboot and let Windows install the driver, if that doesn't help, go to Acer support site, download the graphics card driver and install after uninstalling in Device manager.

Go to Device manager, expand Display adapters, uninstall the driver for graphics card reboot and let Windows install the driver, if that doesn't help, go to Acer support site, download the graphics card driver and install after uninstalling in Device manager.

Thank you for this information. I uninstalled the drivers of both gpu’s and reinstalled them. However, the same issues keep happening.

Hi,
Could you please connect the laptop to an external monitor/TV with HDMI cable and check whether the display works properly.

I connected it to my TV using hdmi. It works just fine. However, When the issue occurs, the TV screen turns black and my laptop screen has the green dots.

Did you find a resolution for this issue? I am experiencing the same issue. I am thinking it is tied into installing the m.2 drive and still running the old hdd as a storage drive.
