Hi
My friend was using my Laptop (E5-571G-35LI) and now when he gave it back to me it doesn't boot up!
There's just a flashing black screen and nothing works.
I don't know if he installed anything on the laptop or not...
What should I do? What may be the problem?

    Hi @Hmd_H

Worried to know that you are unable to boot your laptop. I would like to know the version Windows OS running in your computer. Moreover, do you see Acer logo on startup? Do you get any error message?

Please follow the below steps and reset your BIOS settings to default.
    1. Power on the system. As soon as the first logo screen appears, immediately press F2 to enter the BIOS.
    2. Press F9 and then Enter to load the default configuration.
    3. Press F10 and then Enter to save and exit.
    4. let it boot to windows
Check what happens and please reply back.

Sometimes that error is accurate, the boot device has actually failed. When you go into BIOS does it show the drive?
