Hey everyone first time in the forum,

I just got my Acer Helios 300 (2019) from Amazon during the sale and have enjoyed everything except these things and I was hoping someone can answer these.

1. How can I edit Acer Predator sense setting to get lower fan noise at IDLE. when I'm sitting in my bed the fan speed up between 2000-2500rpm which is annoyingly noticeable in a quiet room trying to do work. I just want to drop it to 1000-1500 or at lease have one fan off and the other at 2500 since the Gpu is off while idle.

2. Does throttle stop stack the undervolt? that Acer included -1.25 undervolt controlled by Acer predator sense as well? I'm not sure if that plays nice with Throttle stop or Intel XTU so, if anyone has some advice please let me know. (regardless temps and fan noise during gaming is pretty decent so, I can live with just the stock settings.)

3. Why do I get an error in window 10 for using my USB-C type headphones regarding insufficient controllers? I beleive it has to do when I try to use the mic and this is for my Samsung headphone for the S10 Note.

I would appreciate any help and advice and thank you.

Fans ramp up to cool based on how hot the system is getting. You mentioned "sitting in bed"... now, do you have free air flow towards the laptop underside? This could be why your laptop could be getting heated up even on idle.

I question the validity of this, as many testers including Jarrods tech were able to successfully increase the undervolt beyond the initial undervolt

It not that I am blocking the bottom air vent regardless of how the laptop is position the idle temp are 31-36c on the CPU with GPU off on idle and I get fan speed on 1680 RPM on the CPU and 2160 RPM on the GPU this is the lowest Acer allows it to drop. The only time it ever lower then that is from booting up or waking the laptop and building up. Again, this is Acer default setting and many tech reviewer have mention this is a little on the loud side it not extreme but for me it a pet peeve. I wanted to see if I can edit the files in the Acer Predater Sense setting to change the value for the fan speed if anyone has tried please show how!
