Hi!
I'm a newbie, please bare with me. Asking for the Best RAM upgrade.
In crucial site, the ff clock rates are available: 2400 / 2666 / 3200.
My machine's max RAM capacity is 20GB. I have a default 1x4GB RAM and it's soldered inside so I'm considering to get 1x16GB of RAM.
What is the optimum clock rate to pair with my 1x4GB DDR4-2133; Timing: 15-15-15-35?
Will it become Double Channel after I install a RAM, i'm not sure. I've researched and saw comparison that dual channel is faster than single channel.

LAPTOP SPECS

Memory
 > 1x4GB DDR4 2133Mhz (Single Channel)
   Timing: 15-15-15-35
 > +1 Available slot
M.2 slot: Available

    Hello,
I think you made a typo. Do you own an A315-53G?
First the Intel I5-7200U processor supports DDR4 2133MHz so the memory modules stated will work at 2133MHz.
    Here are the Acer specs:

About the dual channel, I would suggested you to read this Intel topic about Flex Memory Access (Flex mode):

    Hey @laurent_14
Oh. You mean, i can use any of the ff: 2400 / 2666 / 3200 ? If yes, what will it be the best to choose?
Sure, i'll read the flex mode.

I would buy the cheapest since it will work at 2133MHz (CAS latency or CL15). ;)
