Liquid Z4 (Model Z160) stopped turning on

For a short period before stopping it would cycle through error messages like "unfortunately, Acer Home has stopped", "unfortunately, Google Play has stopped" and a few others. I tried to reboot several times, which didn't help, and after another attempt it would just not turn on at all. No new software had been downloaded, nor anything else of note happened before the issue started. When plugged in to charge, the light is blue, Acer screen comes on, then the screen goes black and a large battery sign comes up in the middle of it. I would love it if the phone could be used again but, more importantly, I would really appreciate it if someone could help getting the contacts, messages and the To Do list off it. Thank you!!

Hi, Sorry to hear about your issue. Press the power button with the phone connected to the charger and check if it tries to boot or not?

Also if you feel that the unit is under warranty, click the link below and choose your location and contact the Acer Support and they will help you.

Thank you for answering, MartinJohn00001! When the phone is connected to the charger and power button pressed, the screen "Acer Explore beyond limits TM" comes on, then goes off to black screen again. Do you think there is any hope for getting it to work or getting any data off it? Thanks again!

Oh, I see. It's an old phone so unfortunately there is no warranty and Acer offers out-of-warranty support only through a third party that charges a fee.
