I've had these troubles for about a week and I'm 99% sure I got a virus and now I can't boot my computer to my desktop. I want to try factory resetting but I don't know how.

Model: E1-510

    Good evening CasualyZ !

Hardly any virus causes "no bootable device" error
This is an issue directly related to the hard drive and its controllers.

Have you checked if HDD is correctly recognized at Bios?

Have you tried the ALT + F10 command when you turn on the device?

Yep. I have no idea what happend. I removed and re added my hard drive. Which fixed that. But now it won't load windows. So something got corrupted. This is a worst case scenario. Need my laptop for school too so -_-

Alt + F10 does nothing. The only keu that does anything is F2.

ALT + F10 must be pressed when turning on the power before displaying the Acer logo.

Is HDD identified on the Bios information tab?

Yes' the HDD is shown on the BIOS settings. But occasionally it struggles to find it. Like. 1/8 chance. And yes I did hold alt + F10 multiple times before and after turning it on.

It is possible that the SATA cable that connects the HDD to the motherboard is damaged or not properly seated.

I know the motherboard is not damaged but what is SATA? I'm not great with computers. Sorry if I'm bugging you.

There is an internal Sata connection cable that connects the HDD socket to the motherboard.
    Must check it

I'll check it tomorrow. It's late. But that could be it.

Also say IF my operating system is corrupt I would like to know what to do. Because when I could boot windows nothing happend and then I went back to square 1.

If the Acer recovery partition has been damaged, simply sending the device to your local Acer to reinstall the system.

You must disassemble the player and locate the cable that connects the HDD to the motherboard.
