Sudden drop maximum battery capacity on AN515-52

I've called support the first time that it happened and they had me reset the battery, then it appears since every 2-3 days the battery on my Nitro AN515-52 drops from its regular maximum capacity of around 37529mWh to around 951mWh, until i reset the battery once more and it charges to full then it returns to 37529mWh.

It's only 6 months old, and still under warranty. Is this something I should still be pursuing with support for a replacement or because it's not consistently reading the lower mWh is there nothing they can do for me?

There have been no software changes.

sorry to hear it. Kindly try power drain by following the below steps.

Power Drain

1)Unplug the AC power adapter.

2)Press and hold the Power button down until the unit goes off.

3)Search for a pinhole that has a battery symbol next to it on the backside of your laptop, insert a small paperclip in the battery reset pinhole, press and hold it down for 25 seconds. Then release the paperclip and try to turn on the unit and check.

If this doesn't help, try to reinstall the battery drivers by following the below steps and check.

Try uninstalling and re-installing the battery drivers of the unit, follow the steps below:

1) In the search box on the taskbar, enter device manager, then select Device Manager.

2) Right-click (or press and hold) the name of the battery driver, and select Uninstall.

3) Restart your PC.

4) Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.

Thank you, TECH_MAN. I have been doing the powerdrain part and it only seems to last 2-3 days. I will do the driver thing now and try that. I was wondering if perhaps it was a software issue so this would likely test that out. Thank you for your input!

EDIT: It has two listed under Battery, "Microsoft AC Adapter" & "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery" should i be uninstalling both of these?

updating: it has happened again, this time rather than the hard reset with pinhole in the back i went straight to remove the drivers and the max capacity instantly shot up, so it is an software issue. i looked for newer drivers but there appears to be none.. what more can I do?
