Hi, I owned Helios 300 "15 (2019) GTX1660ti / Intel I7-9750H.  I just notice that every time I plug in the 3.5mm headphone jack, it was not instantly recognizable. you need always to go to Realtek audio console and MANUALLY select the Headphone. then the Headphones are now working fine. So I assume that it is not a hardware problem because it is working properly. I think the problem is with the software where It doesn't detect headphones AUTOMATICALLY. Has anyone experienced this?

Hi, @sHaDoWrdc Try to reinstall the driver for audio. Go to device manager then choose audio driver and right click. Select Uninstall Device and restart to test the unit.

sHaDoWrdc usually windows technically should popup a message for you to swap between speakers and headphones etc (kinda the same as when you plugin a usb device) if youre not getting the popup theres probably an issue with your windows  or something was changed due to a latest update or even some configuration was manually changed to stop it from popping up it might be anything so according to what you had said it was always like this since day 1 or was it working fine previously ?

There are a few troubleshooting around for ex this one or this thread

Make sure MaxxAudio and Realtek are enabled in your start up items. Just had the same problem a couple of days back.
