Why in my Acer aspire 5 A515-43R19L get only half of its speed of my m.2 adata sx8200 pro?

    Hello,
    The M.2 SSD slot is a PCIe X2 so it works at half speed (PCIe X4 / 2):

    thanks for your answer,is there any way to take full performance from ssd on laptop with external ssd adapter or something?
  • Not to my knowledge. There are enclosures but the R/W speed will be similar.

    Currently the Adata SX8200 Pro is a Gen3.0x4 while I believe the one that you have in the laptop is only Gen3.0x2 thats why its just only having the half of its performance.
