My nitro 5(ryzen) after 10 months of use, started showing signs of a faulty fan, I placed a repair request, noone arrived for an onsite inspection for 3 days, and when he did, he said it was indeed a faulty fan, and he will replace it in two days, he returned 5 days later, today, to fix it, after he was gone, and I started using the laptop, i noticed it was idling at 60C-65C when earlier it used to idle at 40-50C, as i opened dota 2, my cpu and gpu shot upto a constant 85C(ocassionally touching 90), and even after closing the game for over 15 mins the temps will not go below 60C, I called acer customer care they say, they refused to help me because unless the temps are over 90C they don't classify it as "overheating", quoting the customer support representative "Tempratures of 80C are normal for a gaming laptop".  As you can see in the screenshot below, The section where the temps are constant is when I was playing the game, and now even after closing it and with an ambient temprature of 20-25C the temps just aren't going down to where they should be. Must be poor application of thermal paste/pads from my understanding, but to straight out refuse to fix it unless i am seeing constant 90C, I don't even know what to say.

To add to  the post above, i am seeing half FPS in dota2, csgo, everything as well as low usage, I suppose it's due to the GPU thermal throttling before it even reaches 90.

First game with the fan on Max not auto, I game on Max then when it has cooled to about 40 deg c I switch to auto. I think the fan replacement screwed up your GPU settings so let's try to get them right.

Make sure your graphics drivers are updated to this version or higher and click express upgrade

Make sure High Performance is selected under Power Plan in Nitrosense when on AC

After that make sure your RX560x is selected in Switchable Graphics for your games and your games are set on High Performance, you must import your games .exe using the Browse tab in pic below
