So I finally downloaded the latest BIOS update released on the 4th of this month. Just a bit ago I reinstalled Manjaro Linux after getting a new SSD. And for the first time I didn't have to do the usual grub boot edit that I usually have to do. I usually have to add "pci=noacpi rcu_nocbs=0-7 processor.max_cstate=1". Now it seems I don't have to do that. Did this latest BIOS update finally make it to where Linux won't need that added to grub anymore?

hard to say without a complete changelog, that Acer never release.
    I'm not an Acer employee.

I'm gonna try giving PopOS an install to see if it requires the grub edit as well. Ill report back.

Yup, even Pop OS installed and ran with no grub edit. This is awesome. Glad I don't have to do that anymore.

Installed Arch Linux and it's running straight with no tweaks needed for it to work. This is definitely a huge win.
