Hello
I recently bought acer predator helios 300 2019 model . I've seen in youtube that games like farcry 5 ran over 70 fps in ultra settings but mine runs between 30-45 fps in ultra settings. This happens to other games too. I tried many things but the result is not changed . What can i do to improve fps in games?? Please help!!

    Good afternoon Sdjshi04 !

    Start with the basics:

1- all drivers and windows must be properly updated
2- the device must be set to use the high performance power plan of Windows
3- the battery must be charged 100% before playing
4- Battery should be set to advanced power options for maximum performance.
5- Game applications must be set in dedicated GPU Dashboard (AMD or Nvida if you have one) to be the main
6- The appliance must be connected directly to a properly grounded power outlet without any power adapter.

Sdjshi04 Have you already optimized windows (as the laptop already comes pre undervolted) windows optimization still needs to be done manually on all gaming devices to get the best performance and i suggest you to upgrade your ram to 16gb dual channel minimum 8gb its not enough for anything these days and i cant figure out how your model only comes with 8gb in 2019 must be a specific model for your country only also your temps should be fine but im curious in what temps are you getting?

Hello. Is there any software that could help optimize windows? If there isn't, what are the steps to manually optimize it ourselves?

Davoncci follow the links in my signature it will lead you to instructions on how to optimize windows/undervolting

Sdjshi04 your temps are normal depending on the game itself and if you have or not repasted  :)

you can use windows tweaker 4.0 https://www.thewindowsclub.com/ultimate-windows-tweaker-4-windows-10
its way better than doing it manually but u have to be careful because there is stuff you might not want to change.
