Hello, I just got the PH315-52 laptop and realized that two USBs on the left side is not even powered.  This is the same side as the ethernet (working).  The USB on the right side is working, along with USB C.  Any help?  Thank you.

I just fixed mine. I unplugged the laptop and unhooked the battery for about 2 minutes. When I hooked it back up both dead USB ports were working again. I tested them with all of my usual USB gadgets and had no issues.

    Hi @DexM ,
Try updating the USB port drivers, follow the below steps:
    1. Open Start.
    2. Search for Device Manager, click the top result to open the experience.
    3. Expand the category with the hardware you want to update.
    4. Right-click the device, and select Update Driver.
    5. Click the Search automatically for updated driver software option.
Hit Accept if its useful :)

If still the usb port is not working then the issue might be with hardware of the unit, contact acer support, use the below shared link

DexM it might be that the cable got disconnected frrm the mobo somehow because the usb 2.0 ports are not built into the mobo like the usb 3.0/usb-c ports they should be on a separated pcb as far as im aware  but i wouldnt even try to open/check it just contact the shop/seller or acer support directly and send it for a repair/replace asap as its a brand new unit

I have the same problem, I was doing arduino and plug led strip that needed 12V power source and then when I plug in, it transfered the 12V into the Usb because I made the circuit wrong. Then my USB and power led stopped working completly. I'll try what ScoobyDoo said but if it not working can I have like a picture of where is located the power thing of the USB to replace it.
