FPS drops on Predator laptop( Predator Helios 300)

I don't have much knowledge on laptop components and all that so sorry if these questions don't make to much sense.

I have:
Acer Predator Helios 300
CPU: 2.2GHz Intel Core i7-8750H (hexa-core, 9MB cache, up to 4.1GHz)
Graphics: Intel UHD Graphics 630; Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 (6GB GDDR5)
RAM: 16GB DDR4 (2,666MHz)
Screen: 15.6-inch FHD (1,920 x 1,080) ComfyView IPS (144Hz refresh rate)
Storage: 256GB PCIe SSD

Running games such as: Tomb Raider 2013, Borderlands 2, Mirrors Edge, Duke Nukem Forever and Mafia 3 are not a problem what so ever, it runs perfect and smoothly, but when it comes to games such as: Wolfenstein 2, Shadow Warrior 2, DOOM, Rainbow Six Siege, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, this is when the FPS drops occur for about 6 seconds every 40 seconds or 60 Playing the game.
Even on the default settings or lower it still occurs.

I know similar problems have been occurring with FPS drops but i can't find the questions and answers i'm looking for.

My Questions are:

Are FPS Drops caused by Slow internet?

Is it because of Laptop temp getting to hot?

Is this a normal experience in the laptop?

Do I have to upgrade to a PC not a better laptop?

HunterCadan85 Are you thermal throttling ??? to take advantage of the best performance of the predators you have to optimize windows/undervolt and if still needed repaste with a good thermal paste like kryonaut ( if you can do it yourself without voiding the warranty if not alwasy contact acer support first)

Sorry for the late response, I am thermal throttling, if you have an Acer Predator Helios 300 can you send me a screenshot of what your CPU and GPU are set to on the predator app? 🙂
