Aspire 5352

I spilled liquid on my keyboard.  I cleaned it up quickly but the keys on back space keys and the num lock keys seem to be using an alternate keyboard.  I didn't know I had one.  What keys do I need to press in order to get rid of that alternate keyboard.  I get spades and if I press 4 it types in 42.  The backspace key brings me to the beginning of the line etc.
