Nitro 5 (i7 7700hq) red strip

It's not so much of a deal but i really like to customize my gear to whatever suits me.
The red strip on the nitro 5 (the red part that has "Nitro" on it between the keyboard and the monitor) is naturally red, and accidentally scratched it.
How can i remove the red strip to do a repaint on it?
(Don't worry about warranty, already been void)

When checking the service manual, in this series Nitro 5, the red part in question is integrated into the upper part of the chassis (uper case assy).
You will have to dismantle the whole device almost entirely just for painting.
