Help-Acer PH315-51-73S0 worth buying over AN515-53-592T?

Hi,
I recently purchased the Acer Nitro 5 AN515-53-592T for $1200canadian (on sale, $300 off). This model has the i5-8300h, with GTX1060, 256SSD and 1TB HDD.
I now noticed that the Predator PH315-51-73S0 went on sale for $300 off as well, coming to $1600. They have very similar specs and both have a 144hz screen, but the difference is the Predator has 16GB or RAM vs Nitro’s 8GB (although i can upgrade the Nitro’s RAM), as well as an i7 processor.
Is it worth an extra $400 to upgrade to a better processor, RAM, and maybe better build quality?

If you use the notebook in games, the difference will not be so great! In this case, I would seek to increase the amount of ram memory in nitro 5. @Nathizzle predator all the way the nitro its not bad either but if you dont mind to pay a bit more for a better cpu/build i would go for it but as @egydiocoelho said unless you are going to do rendering works with it the i5 its more than enough for gaming only but its up to you if you have the budget go for it

I want to add that the Helios 300 has a slightly better cooling as well and is capable of cooling both the i7 8750h and the GTX 1060, unlike the Nitro 5.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
-Model number
-Part number(not required, but helpful)
-CPU
-GPU-Operating systemHelios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.
