You can edit your post and append to it, than make new ones.

    Intel Core i7-7700HQ
Performing way below expectations (14th percentile)
This can be improved with a custom power plan. I attached mine to this post, import it and see if makes any difference.
Also can be improved with CPU undervolting.

    Nvidia GTX 1060 (Mobile)
    Performing above expectations (79th percentile)
This can be further improved wit MSI Afterburner.

You background is still at 27% -- needs further optimization to bring this down to under 5%, or atleast the very most 10%.
Check what all services are running, and list out the ones you feel you can disable (you can disable them yourself too, but do so only if you know what you are doing).

Once your system is fully optimized in all aspects, your CPU and GPU percentiles should be over 70% and 85%. And this is very achievable.

after a while of looking around MSI, ive got like 5300 points on that test, not the worst, but im wondering after looking at performance, my gou steadsy arond 40-58 can dip to 30 and rarly go to 80, how do i keep that up around atleast 60% or higher? is it my cpu? i dought it but, maybe thats why i get bad fps sometimes? not an expert, also my Intel GPU is running at 20_30% average, should i disable or what? thanks

Not quite sure what you're talking about..
But I think you want the GPU at max load always?
Your Nvidia GPU will only use what's needed to run whatever program is running.

You cannot disable the Intel GPU as it acts as a sort of "server" displaying information to your screen that the Nvidia GPU renders. The Nvidia GPU has no direct connection to the monitor.
So if you disable the Intel GPU your screen will be blank.

My Helios 300 has the same performance of a desktop of the same specs.. and also runs VR well above 60 fps on most titles.

Have you tried undervolting/overclocking the GPU?
It simply lessens voltages the GPU uses to maintain boost clocks for longer periods of time.

    I recommend the undervolt/overclock profile.

I have a G3-572 and pretty much run all games i play on ultra, for extended periods. Windows 10 really messed up performance and so needs quite some optimization.

So basically no there is nothing we can do. I spent alot of money and look on here and see multiple people having the exact same issue its not in my head. I have had nothing but poor performance .. 40-45 fps if I turn the graphics down.. I dont think my benchmark tests were much higher than the ones shown ans for the price our results shouldnt be mediocre to less than mediocre. I feel like I also bought garbage. Everyday more and more people are reporting the same.. its its  I accept i spent way to much money and regret wasting the money.

Being brutal here... lamenting would not help, considering this is your first post on here. You did not tell what all things you optimized. And remember, laptops do not mean just hardware - they comprise of software too, and windows 10 is a hog! Windows 10 needs very heavy optimization to peak out performance (and no, using high performance power plan without other optimizations rarely helps to improve performance; it does help to increase heat though).
Of the many you saw, a lot of them have had improvements in performance by being patient in working things out.

Every user has their needs and preferences and so would need to work it out to their needs and requirements. Example, I am happy with constant 60 FPS while some need 90.

Check the links in my signature and to go about them.

So regarding my negative comment I would like to change it. I found that my issues were happening with the shimmering graphics, poor quality, and really low FPS when playing games was due to the KILLER NETWORKING SOFTWARE that came with my predator. I was getting 30-40 fps on bf5 and warthunder and now I am getting 140. The killer networking software that came stock was different than the other software I found on their website. I removed all of the software and drivers and installed the Killer Command Center and viola, the poor frames, sluggish graphics quality, the constant movement on the texture of solid objects all gone. What made me question it was the icon for Killer should have a K with bones or what looks like a sharp tooth or blade on the letter K but the stock software used for controlling the wifi and ethernet duo shot was different on mine. It made my laptop function much better removing that and now I also dont have the fill of content coming in late as I move around. I don't know exactly what the issues were but removing all of that software and installing from the Killer website fixed all of my issues and all of the things described above was happening to mine as well. I am finally able to stop going insane tweaking all of the graphics setting constantly.

I had uninstalled my graphics driver at least 4 times and reinstalled and had several people look at my laptop and could not figure out what was happening my guess is something in the actual stream was not coming through correctly and the entire time I thought it was a graphics issue. I am running smooth now and at 144 fps on bf5 and war thunder.. I even saw a few spikes while in the menu board that hit 366fps.. never once did that happen prior. The new killer software is found here

and I removed the stock "killer Networking" even the nic drivers. I have no idea why this affected all of the graphics on my games as much as it did but I too felt I wasnt getting the performance I should have been and after trying for 6 months to fix it I finally resolved my problems.

The new steam software enables the "stream mode" by default - disable this to squeeze more performance.

Really ?? clearly you dont even search or read anyones posts properly if you go through out my posts and almost everyone in here you can see loads of recommendations saying that 1 single slot its not good to always use a dual channel set with the same clock/CL (doesnt mean you will have fps issues solved because fps issues could be from anything else but it will for sure improve the performance) so you are the one here who is awful in searching/reading and follow the advice given by 99% of the helpers here this is why negative comments like yours are not welcome at all because this is a user to user community and everyone puts loads of time here trying to help everyone with issues if you dont appreciate everyone's effort you should be looking to fix your issues elsewhere and dont waste the precious time of those that are here to help the community

PS: and as you said those people associated with the website are acer staff that manage/moderate the forum but this is 99% run by everyday users non acer staff

well got the ram stick, extra 40fps in almost every game.. some even higher
    it did help... by alot
also ive spent hours *researching* and found nothing exept some guy said on reddit if you have 2 ram sticks
my laptop was appearantly advertised as of havig 2x8gb's by the retailer i bought it at, appearantly not
all im saying is this was a simple issue that nobody appearantly got, im only getting into
PC's and didnt know what duel channel and single channel ram was
and after spending a year and a half looking for why, youtube, diffrent websites like toms hardware, on here etc, nobody gave me a good answer
so yes i do have a reason to be atleast slightly *****

Well, I decided to reach the forum to ask for an incisive help from you guys! Unfortunately, I'm pretty much no expert on PC gaming whatsoever, as I've always been a console player and stuck to that 'til now. I've recently purchased this Acer Predator Helios 300 Notebook model G3-572-75L9, which comes with an GTX1060 of 6GB DDR5, INTEL i7-7700HQ and 16GB of RAM. Based on this ignorance of mine regarding necessary specs for gaming, the recommendation of this laptop was after a discussion with two other friends who are experienced in all this, and, besides, they have similar specs on their PCs (they don't own a gaming notebook, though).

I've constantly been facing hideous performance in games, specially CS:GO, which is the game I'd like to dedicate myself the most. Unfortunately, I couldn't seem to reach a qualitative and sufficient performance whilst in-game with the automatic settings CS assigns as default, based off of your benchmark power (in my case, it's all set on High). Frame rate barely hits 100 FPS when I'm set on Fullscreen mode, and, if I change it to Fullscreen Borderless (to make Alt+Tab easy), if FPS comes around to 80 is indeed a huge step!
As far as I knew, these laptop specs were supposed to handle greater frame rate rather than what I've been experiencing lately, primarily taking into account these performance test-wise videos:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nRCFYME6GSA
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jx1SZsfM7pg

I mean, *****, those dudes can hit 180+ FPS quite easily, whereas I've been going through this overwhelming issue. I have updated NVidia's drivers to their latest versions (v.411.70) through their own website; updated everything that applied on Windows Update; switched the option, in NVidia's control panel, to focus on Performance over Quality ("Adjust image settings with preview" tab), as well as swapped Preferred Graphics Processor to High-Performance NVidia Processor ("Manage 3D Settings" tab); disabled Whisper Mode in NVidia Experience software; battery plan is on High performance too; set Overclock Turbo for the GPU using Predator Sense software, amongst many other things I can't even remember now. I've even tried to reset this laptop to factory default state, selecting the "Clean Unit" option, which would be some kinda advanced restoring process on Windows 10, so that I could assure everything would be set to stack 0, yet no success on that either :/

I am extremely disappointed with this whole matter, as I thought at first glance I could reach at least the minimum expected, and not what's been going on now. And notice that I purchased this notebook on Sep 19th, it arrived Sep 25th, that is, it's indeed a very recent acquirement. In fact, what is impressive in all this is, even if changing CS settings to either Medium or Low, frame rate remains EXACTLY the same. There's no bare sign of 1 FPS increase to show somewhat improvement in the game performance.

I honestly don't know what else I can do, because I pretty much have ran out of options. I tried to check some other threads here in this community forum, but in these one has either fixed this problem with one of the aforementioned attempts, or has fixed it, yet doesn't even tell how one could do such.

Thus, I ask, nice and gentle, you guys to help me regarding this whole matter, since I'm getting worked up for real and I don't have the bare minimum idea of what else I can do to fix this. Seriously, guys, I'd highly appreciate any kind of help! Thanks in advance!
Did you find Solution? Cause im going through same problem on my predator 2019 PH315-52

RakiRaki his issue was not having ram in dual channel not the same as you are having as this cpu/laptop its a 2017/18 7th gen so cannot be compared with a 9th gen in anyway :)
