Iconia W700 - display issue

Hi there folks,

I just got my W700 and while all looked fine at first, I soon noticed a problem with the display.

With certain unicolour backgrounds (dark grey, purple, etc.), I get a strip of about 1 cm in width that runs all along the top and the right edge of the screen and is lighter in colour. The whole thing looks a bit like a frame. What's interesting is that it only shows with certain colour; also, I would have expected it show very well with a black background, but surprisingly it doesn't show at all.

It's not a clearly defined but rather a blury area; reminds me a bit of a torchlight effect, just with a different shape.

First I thought it may be normal, but since there is no such frame effect along the bottom and the left edge of the screen, so I am quite certain it's an anomaly.

Have you guys observed any such effect/phenomena on your screens?
