Won't boot after install on new hard drive

Installing Windows 8.1 on Acer ES1-711-P1UV went fine. When rebooted it hangs shortly into the first boot...the circle of dots stops moving. I have done this procedure on many different computer brands, including Acer, many times. I just can't figure out this issue. Would disable secure boot help? That's about all I can gather from what I have read. I didn't have the recovery disks and, being new, the hard drive has no recovery partition. Thanks in advance for any help!   Lynn

    Good afternoon RubiconSC !

Could you post a bug print?
Did you update the drivers after installation?
There is a possibility that the ISO or the installation files may be corrupted.

It never booted after the installation finished. It started then froze up before the GUI came up. I didn't have the chance to install drivers or anything. I thought about corrupt iso...I downloaded another copy from a different location...same result. I don't know where or how to get a bug print. I do know the reg key is in firmware or hardware or whatever. Installing wrong build? I doubt that though. It will install Linux fine. I translated the Spanish...it still didn't make sense to me. Sorry.
