Can I add DDR4 RAM into ASPIRE E5-576G-54KG

Hi,
my laptop has already have 4GB DDR3L memory.

or should i replace the existing memory with 8GB DDR3L ?

Because i want to upgrade my RAM to 8GB or 12GB with existing RAM but can i do it with DDR4 RAM ?

    Sorry no, you must stay with DDR3L if that's what's in there now. You can double-check with Speccy sysinfo freeware.  DDR3L and DDR4L modules and slots are physically different and operate at different voltages. Jack E/NJ

    It should work OK. But might work better with a matched pair of modules because the mainboard supports dual channel memory mode where the matched pair works in tandem giving enhanced speeds over a mixed pair of modules. Jack E/NJ
