    Good night Le0ndar !

If you have tools, some knowledge and safety, you should NOT turn the unit on.

Disconnect the power, remove the battery and disassemble the unit.
Use a microfiber cloth to remove the liquid and clean contacts.
Use a kettle to dry and an oil (such as WD40) to help prevent oxidation.

Let rest for a few hours, go back and see if there is any problem.

That would be a basic guideline.

    Hello,

I live in a remote and my laptop is my only way of communication to the outside world. My laptop's been working fine since the spill - I managed to clean most of the juice from the top of the laptop but I'm afraid of opening the keys to clean underneath.

The only problem I'm facing key wise is that they are very hard to press.

Also, I'm noticing a lot of heat from underneath the laptop, I'm not sure if this is because of the spill because I usually use the laptop from the table but of late I have switched to the bed - with a cooling pad - and I feel the heat from underneath the laptop a lot which I'm not sure if I noticed from the table.

I'm presuming this could be because of positioning, but I just want to make sure if I have reason to worry if the spill could be the cause of this and if I should take any further necessary precautions.

Also I've noticed that the cooling pad gets very hot because of the heat from the laptop, again, I'm not sure if I noticed this before but I'm very concerned right now. Can someone please advise?
