(First photo is predator helios 300 with power "kill" switch near the ram modules) Is it possible to remove this switch and have the computer run normally without it? because I realized that this is the culprit for random shut offs or just not turning on of the laptop until I shift it in place and it stays on there after. I've already added extra crafting foam into the little rubber spud area that's supposed to keep it from turning off but sometimes it won't turn on until I move the laptop a bit.

(Below photo is nitro 5 with no such switch and ZERO problems with sudden shut offs of laptop)

The switch is just 2 metal contacts touching each other creating a short. This switch is pressed by the panel covering the RAM to prevent you from turning on the device, while it is open. If you believe the switch is indeed the problem, you can remove the switch and on its place you can solder a wire between the 2 contacts, which will act as a constantly closed switch. Of course, doing this will void the warranty.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

Get a voltmeter and find out which of the contacts you need to connect to get the power flowing constantly but personally i wouldn't do that anyway any changes to any mobo components (not upgreadable) void the warranty this considering you havent voided it already by breaking any seals you might had to open it or breaking any internal warranty policy that the shop/seller where you bought it might have and the predator helios variants are different from the nitro variants as far as i know

    Hi.

That interrupter, you have it in short? ... Without the motherboard it may turn on, that is between energies but it will not work.

    Regards.

What do you mean in short? do you mean as in is it pressed down? The "interrupter" as you call it? yes it's pressed down from the ram cover on the case that sits over it. I'm just really wondering it it's possible to desolder it and if i did that, would the laptop still boot up or do I need it?

    Acer G3-572-72YF
Not sure of the part #
    I7-7700HQ
    GTX 1060 6GB
    Windows 10 (Updated)

You mentioned soldering a wire between the two contacts. Do you mean directly across from one another like left to right? and as in the two contacts do you mean top left to top right and bottom left to bottom right? or are all four contact points touching each other?

Also if the helios 300 has this switch why doesn't the nitro 5 have it? the contacts are not touching each other on the nitro 5 motherboard, or is this just a newer design or different design?
