Good day!

I have an ACER A715-71G-50LS laptop with a pre-installed WiFi Atheros / Qualcomm QCA6174 802.11ac Wireless Network Adapter card.
Faced the following problem. I wanted to upgrade my WiFi + BT card to be BT 5.0. The choice fell on the Intel 9260NGW. After installation, WiFi worked without problems, but BT did not even appear in the device manager. Is it possible to get this card fully in a laptop, or maybe there are other cards with BT 5.0 compatible with this laptop?

In device manager go to View and then click on show hidden devices and then check if a section called 'Unknown devices' will appear. If it doesn't appear, then it could be a faulty wifi card or the device not being able to recognise it.

You can try the solution from this thread to see if it will help.

Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

Have you tried downloading the bluetooth driver from intel?
