Acer aspire 7 extremely slow

Hey guys, ive got an issue here. My acer aspire 7 is extremely slow. It will freeze on the most basic tasks such as searching the windows menu or opening a browser, settings or anything really. Its very frustrating that a somewhat new laptop does this.  I bough it 9 months ago and the specs seemed beefy enough to keep up with basics tasks, yet thats not the case.

Has  anyone else had issues with those laptops?
Is there any solution for it?
Is there a way to upgrade my RAM ?
Can i get an SSD for the laptop?

>Ive already reinstalled windows - it didnt help.
>Ran all kind of programs beforehand to make sure its not viruses or malware thats slowing it down.
>Also ran a stress test to make sure that everything is fine. It did well on the stress test, altho it did overheat which i think is normal for a laptop getting pushed to the limits of what it can do.

Laptop specs:
Intel i7-7700HQ 2.80 - 3.80 GHZ
Gtx 1050 2gb ddr5
8gbs DDR4 RAM
1 TB hard disc
ASPIRE 7 A717-71G-7488 /BK
its the 17.3 inch display version

    2. Type msconfig and click OK.

    3. On the General tab, click Selective startup.

    4. Clear the Load startup items check box.

    5. Click the Services tab.

    6. Select the Hide all Microsoft services check box (at the bottom).

    7. Click Disable all.

    8. Click the Startup tab.

    9. Click Open Task Manager.

    10. On the Startup tab, right-click each enabled startup item and select Disable.

    11. Click OK.

    12. Click Restart.

Still if the laptop is slow than i would suggest you to reset the laptop

    Good Morning Frosttide  !

Check in the Task Manager if the disk is displaying 100% usage error.

    Strongly disagree.
Any current HDD has standard technology and performance to run an Operating System without any probe.
An SSD would only increase read and write speeds.
But if this 100% disk usage error is occurring, no SSD will resolve.
The solution should be through procedures already known.

    Watch this video.
It is in Portuguese, but just activate the subtitles.
It is well explained and it is quite simple to follow the instructions.
