Acer Aspire M5-481TG - Card reader not working after Windows 10 Upgrade
Hey!
I can't get my card reader working after upgrading to windows 10 64bit...
Device manager gives me back error Code 48, tried installing different drivers I found for Realtek PCIE Card Reader... none of them are working....
"Code 48: The software for this device has been blocked from starting because it is known to have problems with Windows"

Have you already tried the one from Realtek website?
please uninstall the installed driver before installing this, on device manager right click, choose uninstall and tick uninstall software too.

My card reader on aspire V3-731 stopped reading Xd cards after Windows 10. The windows update drive enabled SD cards but not Xd.
Just installed this from the Realtek site and now all working as it used to under Win8!
