Looks like it was a RAID drive. What a waste. Jack E/NJ

Did you get the update from the Intel or ACER site? If Intel generic version, go here to try the ACER-flavored version https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers  Jack E/NJ

Uninstall the driver. Don't try to manually re-install anything. Reboot. Let Windows auto detect and re-install the driver it wants. Jack E/NJ

Do you have more than one irst driver installed on there right now? Uninstall all the irst drivers. Jack E/NJ

Delete old one again. Do NOT try to install it or anything else again. Then only reboot Windows. Jack E/NJ

    (1) Delete old IRST driver.
    (2) Do NOT install any IRST driver
    (3) Reboot Windows

    (1) Turn machine off
    (2) Turn machine on and immediately start tapping the F2 key to enter the BIOS menu.
    (3) Do you see D drive listed in the Information Tab? It should be listed as HDD1.
