Hi,
I bought an Acer Aspire E 14 laptop last month. Details of the laptop as follows :
Model: Aspire E14 E5-476G-54G4
P/N: NX.GRBSM.001
CPU: INTEL CORE i5-8250U
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce MX150 with 2GB VRAM
OS: Windows 10 Home

My friend told me this laptop has an M.2 interface and after Google it, I found a few You tube that confirmed what my friend told me.

My question is, what type of M.2 SSD should I get ; PCIe or SATA ?

One you tube video showed that he use Samsung NVMe SSD 960 PRO which is PCIe and the other video use WD Green SSD which is SATA.

Please advise me the correct SSD for my laptop.

Thanks in advance.

Pogi123 Can also use either. But larger m.2 pcie/nvmes, particularly the 970s, have been finicky in many machines often with detection issues. m.2 SATA3s are more reliable in this respect and suitable for most users. I personally would not pay too much extra for an nvme than an equivalent capacity SATA3 card Jack E/NJ

Do you get a TV screen if you connect a TV to your E5 with an HDMI cable? Jack E/NJ
