Adding new SSD in E1-572G Laptop (compatible SSD + moving Win 10)

I'm planning to upgrade my E1-572G laptop with a new SSD drive. I have following queries which needs to be answered:
1- Is there any compatibility issue which needs to be considered before purchasing new SSD? I'm buying

Silicon Power 120GB SSD S60 MLC High Endurance SATA III 2.5" 7mm (0.28") Internal Solid State Drive- Free-download SSD Health Monitor Tool Included (SP120GBSS3S60S25AE)

2- How to move my Windows 10 from 1 TB to this new SSD?

Hi,
Could you please tell us the used capacity of your 1TB HDD, are you sure that 120GB will be enough for your OS and data?
If you still want to go ahead and replace with this drive, the procedure is as follows:
1. You need to get a USB adapter like this:https://www.amazon.co.uk/USB-SATA-Adapter-Cable-Drives-en-GB-SATA-USB-3-0-converter/dp/B01N2JIQR7/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1523657036&sr=8-1&keywords=USB+adapter+for+external+Hard+disk
2.Download Minitool Partition wizard free:https://www.partitionwizard.com/free-partition-manager.html
Install it in your HDD.
3.Connect the SSD using the USB adapter to your laptop.
4. Use the methods in the tutorial to transfer your OS and data to the SSD.
5. Remove the HDD and install the SSD in the laptop.

Hi!! Could you please share the exact model # or Part No for your laptop, which will help in providing accurate info. For your reference, the part no of the computer will be in format:- NX.M8JEM.006.

Thanks for your comprehensive response. Size of my current C: drive is 407 GB and only 106 GB used at the moment so rest of the 301 GB is free. Windows 8.1 (64 bit) was preinstalled which later upgraded with windows 10.
I'm aiming to improve OS speed and managing whole data on either 1 TB or external USB HDD.
A fried of mine is traveling from U.S.A so finding best amazon deal to upgrade my Laptop. Feel free to share more impressive solution :-)

Hi,
You don't need a sata cable for the caddy to use in the DVD bay.

I mean if they serve these two methods by iguak.
Regarding the Minitool Partition wizard program, it is better to move the SO or move files as well????.
