Need help with m.2 storage Helios 500

I bought Helios 500 amd and I want to increase the storage in it, I bought an 2.5" 1TB ssd and nvme m.2 1TB ssd, but the nvme didn't register.
Help please

    Sorry. The large capacity nvmes are notoriously finicky, particularly the 970s. Bleeding edge tech. But if you must have a 1TB or more m.2 nvme, then you might face this challenge. Crucial dot com (micron) does seem to have a 1TB m.2 nvme card for the PH517 model and crucial guarantees it'll work. If it was my machine, I'd probably download and run their scanner just to be sure of compatibility. Shown below is the compatibility list from the ACER specsheet but it only goes up to 512GB as of the publication date. Jack E/NJ

    If it's a 970, probably best to return it to the vendor/seller for a refund or exchange if you've tried both m.2 slots. A 512GB version or a plain vanilla SATA3 m.2 1-2TB would likely be safer bets. Jack E//NJ

    why wont the 970 evo work on this laptop?
    so i need to go and start testing all the ssd's they have there untill i find one?

    I run 1 tb 970 evo nvme with no problem. Swap the lots, turn off optain raid, reformat and install windows. 

    Helios 500 . PH517-51-72NU . i7 8750H . GTX1070 . Evo 970 nvme

    Yup H500 are a bit tricky when it comes to the nvme slots with samsung drives it's a hit and miss seen loads of issues around :p but in the end what matters its to get it to work i wish i would/could own one though :p
