Hello. I have a new Acer Aspire 7 for several days in the following configuration: Processor: Intel Core i5-8300H Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti, + Intel UHD Graphics 630 Memory: 16 GB Disk: Samsung 250GB 970 EVO M.2 2280 NVMe +HDD The day before yesterday I installed Life is Strange: Before the Storm and during the game I did not feel that the laptop was hot enough. I even checked the graphics temperature just after the game was started:

However, there was Screen tearing and I tried to get rid of it yesterday and updated the graphics drivers, but it didn't help, but after intensive searches on the web I found out I can fix this by changing Frame rame limit from 60 FPS to "NO":

That's why I started to watch the temperature more closely. This is the result: After 5 minutes of play:

So I started from -0,100 V and then I did 10 min stress test and later I increased it by another 0,010 etc. and after a some time I achieved value: -0,190 V and the CPU test was still ok but i decided to set: -0,180 V and I restarted computer and open the game. The temperatures are still high and the fan comes to full speed. Temperature after 5 minutes of play:

FAQ & Answers
I think that may be why you're not seeing results from the initial undervolt. You specifically stated setting to -0.180v and rebooting before testing in game. Be sure after rebooting, XTU process is running and the undervolt profile is loaded instead of default. If it's not popping up after login, it's not configured right. Another indication of it not applying the undervolt is no reduction in thermals. At -0.180v offset you should absolutely be seeing results.
