Predator Helios 300 crashing after Windows Updates (possibly due to background tasks?)

My Predator Helios 300 keeps crashing while playing games. The crashing is apparently random. I've ruled out temperature, undervolting, etc. I'm starting to suspect its due to tasks being performed in the background. I've started manually going through the background tasks before I play but have had no luck. Does anyone have any suggestions? This has been happening since I first got the laptop back in September is getting really annoying. This was supposed to be a decent gaming laptop but it seems that was incorrect and I might have wasted a decent chunk of change.

First of all let everyone know you specs/model have u checked windows virtual memory i used to have crashes due to only having 8gb memory (not enough for anything these days minimum 16) i got 32gb and increased virtual memory to 10gb never had any issues again

    Increasing virtual memory did not help. I have a Predator PH315-51, Intel i7-8750H CUP @ 2.20GHz, 16 GB RAM, 64-bit, Nvidia GTX1060

Also check your temps might be crashing due to high temps

I average around 80 degrees when playing but I've crashed at 45 degrees up to 90 degrees and everywhere in between.

I've also had the same issue with this new windows update 1809. It will throw all kinds of BSOD errors such as PFN_LIST_CORRUPT and SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION. I have done memtest for hours to test my RAM and it does not throw any errors. I suspect the windows update is unstable and wrecking havoc all over the OS.

I bought this computer back in September, and it's been crashing ever since then no matter what version of Windows is running.
