So its been over a month and Acer hasn't resolve my problem yet, they have applied thermal paste so many and today they have applied Artic Silver thermal paste compound saying that this will definitely solve the problem but it hasn't. The MAX CPU temp is 98C while the GPU temp has improved from 75C to 70C. I am seriously tried and frustrated not only that but one of their "engineers" had defected the CPU fan and since they have replaced it but the CPU fan RPM is not as it was before, it rarely hit 6000 and mostly stays 5882 on MAX. I know undervolting works but the temp should be 89C MAX without undervolting RIGHT?!
Seriously I need Help!

It's better you replace the thermal paste yourself, probably it wasn't applied correctly. I used Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut, also replaced the thermal pads.
So far, the temp is around 40c-50c on normal usage

I wouldn't say that. Without undervolting my laptop was at 93-94 max for CPU. With undervolting (no repasting) it came down to about 75 max.

If you wanted to try the under volting CPU and GPU, follow the links in my signature.

If GPU isn't surpassing 70 C then you have good paste application and the issue lies with background services & processes.

Like any gaming laptop with hardware this powerful, optimization is required to gain the full benefits from your rig.

I second what @sri369 says and suggest undervolting. It is a common practice on any gaming PC/laptop

I know @sri369 is right  but today it skyrocketed to 99C just when I opened the game, and the avg temp was 96-98C, they have change thermal paste 4-5 times and they have not change thermal pads once, does this affect?

Or should I just reset the PC because sometimes it freezes for a sec or two, not talking in game.

As it was said above i applied kryonaut on mine and never had any issues since u said they applied artic silver just wondering if it was AS5 that paste is long gone now its useless these days (with the temps the new 7th/8th gen cpu's go) it was the best 4 or 5 years ago but now not even for free :p if u have a good paste/undervolt it and optimize windows (get rid of all the running in background useless rubbish) you will be fine you can follow @Red-Sand youtube channel (Hotel Hero) he has the videos there we also have a fb group for the helios https://www.facebook.com/groups/1969145569968592

    Hi aGoodUsername,

I'm sorry that you're having issues with your Helios 300.

Can you please send me a PM with the S/N of your unit and the name of the Service Center that repaired the unit?

    Thanks,

    Acer-Manny

Apply these techniques to all the programs you've installed yourself.
