Hi guys. I was playing Assasins creed Odyssey and realised that 388.92  is outdated and it does not support Odyssey. Installed 417.22 from Nvidia website and my card is locked at 600 Mhz.
All games are now running at low FPS. Unable to overclock using predator sense or MSI after burner . Can some one please assist ?

Download NVidia Driver 417.01 and install it. No need to uninstall anything.

Yes, all laptop Pascal cards has this issue and not just Acer brands. Rolling back to older driver is the only sollution.

Thanks for your appreciation! By the way, you can try the new drivers after 417.21. Try have this issue fixed, just in case you want new proper drivers.

The problem happened on their latest driver for me as well. Actually, just a DDU clean in safe mode and driver reinstall worked for me.
