Hello! Please help 😅
I have an Acer S1003 and, ever since I got it, it has an issue with the Fn + F6 keys combinations. Instead of turning the screen off, it causes the computer to go to sleep, which is the same thing that Fn + F4 is doing. I don't really know if that's a hardware problem or one of the many Windows 10 bugs out there. I actually even sent the thing to service along with some other problems and they fixed everything except this 😒 Is there any way to get the Fn+F6 to just turn the screen off? Maybe there's a way to change the settings in BIOS or other work around, if this really is a hardware thing.

Also, I've probably posted this in the wrong section, but that's because I really couldn't tell what kind of laptop the S1003 is. If anyone has a clue, please let me know so that I can ask in the right section next time.

Cheers!

Please try installing/ upgrading the drivers of your device using the Platform Drivers Installer. It has the set of all device drivers for this model.  Download
You need to download, open the downloaded zip folder Platform Drivers_Acer_20.19.15.4352_W10x86_A.zip
Then open folder script and run the install_all batch file to update all the device drivers.

Also, check if your device has the latest version of BIOS.Upgrading your system BIOS incorrectly could harm your Acer product. Please proceed with caution. Latest version of BIOS is V1.19

I have updated the drivers and this didn't fix the issue, but it appears that my BIOS version is 1.18. Is there a way to update it?
